the story behind BTAN
It wasn’t born in a laboratory. It was born from an inspiration.
Carlotta Niccolo, founder of BTAN, didn’t start in the beauty industry. Her journey began in a law firm in Biella, but she quickly realized it wasn’t her path. What truly drives her is helping women feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
Everything changed in California. On a beach in Los Angeles, two girls approached her laughing: “Do you want to age prematurely? Why are you tanning in the sun?”. They left her with a business card for a spray tan studio.
That moment sparked an idea. A new way to achieve a natural, radiant glow, without sun exposure.
That’s how BTAN was born.
